We’ve taken the best all-round ball machine and made it even better.
Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills.
With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 (v2) offers things you’d normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel and remote control, and 150-ball capacity – all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design.
Key features and benefits
Internal movement
Unlike most ball machines, which change the direction of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. The internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.
Random modes
With both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered across the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. ‘Horizontal Random’ can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. ‘Vertical Random’ delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both ‘Horizontal Random’ and ‘Vertical Random’ can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.
Two-line drills
This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to ‘wide’, ‘medium’ or ‘narrow’ to vary the degree of difficulty. The ‘wide’ setting makes you run from side to side, ‘narrow’ allows you to remain in the middle of the court, while ‘medium’ is between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.
Extreme topspin and slice capability
Using counter rotating wheels, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired.
Remote control
All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court.
Easy portability
Compact and lightweight, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the boot of most cars. The hopper (ball basket) can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, and solid wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push it almost anywhere.
Three power options
You can choose to have a built-in or external battery pack, or plug-in AC power option. The external battery pack makes the machine much lighter, allowing you to leave it in the car and just bring the battery inside for charging. A fast charger is also available, cutting the charging time from 11 hours to 3–4 hours. If your court has easy access to a power point, you may prefer the plug-in AC power option.

The Spinfire fast charger (5 AMP) charges an empty battery in 3-4 hours whereas the standard charger takes 11 hours. This is a great accessory for your Spinfire Pro 2 if under heavy use and you want your machine at optimum performance. The maximum speed available will slowly trickle down as the battery flattens, therefore it is recommended to keep your machine as fully-charged as possible.You can also plug this fast charger into the machine while it is being used and it will pump charge into the machine at a faster rate than it is being drawn. This means your machine will never run out of battery (almost the same as working off electricity).

There are 3 different mainboards available to choose from:
1. Suitable for V1 machines (2012–2019). These are the machines with a white keypad.
2. Suitable for V2 machines without app functionality (= V2 – Fury) – from approx. 2020 onwards.
3. Suitable for V2 machines with app functionality (V2 – Rampage). You can also use this mainboard to upgrade your V2 ball machine; in other words, if you have a V2 machine without app support, you can replace the installed mainboard with the Rampage mainboard to enable app usage.

This machine also includes a linear gripper, the preferred gripping mechanism for professional stringers. The split weight allows the machine to string tennis, squash and badminton racquets.Linear Gripper:Linear grippers allow the stringer to simply and easily attach the string to the pulling mechanism without any need to wind it or bend it which can cause damage to the string.Adjustable leveling:Drop weight machines require the bar to be horizontal when pulling a string, however, in practice this is not always easy to do. This machine includes an adjustment ratchet allowing the stringer to easily level the bar, saving valuable restringing time.6 points of support:This machine utilizes a 6 point mounting system which supports the frame fully and prevents warping or damage. These can be micro-adjusted allowing you to secure the frame tightly without damaging it.Tool TrayThe tool tray has plenty of room for all the necessary tools.PortabilityFor stringers who travel to tournaments or simply don’t have free space to permanently work from, this machine can easily be lifted and moved without much effort.Clamps:Their clever design provides extra finger room when releasing the lever and the adjustment knob has been recessed into the clamp to allow both clamps to get closer together.
