Polys can take some getting use to, however. A full-bed of poly has a cumulative effect on string bed stiffness and stringing to your normal tension can leave you with a board-like feeling that causes unnecssary strain on your arm. Most manufacturers recommend stringing at least 10% below your normal tension to account for the absence of that inital tension drop experienced with multi-filament strings.
For those that really want to dial in the experience that a top quality polyester can provide, we recommend planning to go through a few sets and make regular adjustments. Start as low as 40lbs of tension: that's right 40. Low tension polyester stringing has the advantage of returning the comfort level of a relatively stiff material to that of a much softer gut or gut synthetic. Stringing Tips
More and more high end players are switching to full-bed polyester setups using a shaped string like Black Mamba Gear Twisted. Polyester provides tremendous durability without sacrificing your ability to control the ball. Whether you want to add spin or just directional control, this string is a great starting place.
Polys can take some getting use to, however. A full-bed of poly has a cumulative effect on string bed stiffness and stringing to your normal tension can leave you with a board-like feeling that causes unnecssary strain on your arm. Most manufacturers recommend stringing at least 10% below your normal tension to account for the absence of that inital tension drop experienced with multi-filament strings.
For those that really want to dial in the experience that a top quality polyester can provide, we recommend planning to go through a few sets and make regular adjustments. Start as low as 40lbs of tension: that's right 40. Low tension polyester stringing has the advantage of returning the comfort level of a relatively stiff material to that of a much softer gut or gut synthetic. It allows the string to cup the ball just enough longer to really give the profile of the string the extra bite it needs to make maximum use of the unique proerties of the string shape. You might worry about the trampoline effect, but with a stiff string, it will not be as promounced as you fear.
40lbs is just the starting point, however. Plan to restring and make adjustments upward until you find the sweet spot for your style of play. We promise that you will find that spot much below what you might feel your "normal" tension should be.

Die
schwar/rote Duo ist eine supersofte Polyester, für alle Spieler die eine softe

der Armschonendsten Co-Polyestersaiten welche wir im Programm haben.

Technologie (ZDT)! Dies macht es möglich zwei verschiedene Co-Polyester mit
einander zu verbinden bzw. zu verschmelzen!
Die

Stringing Tips
More and more high end players are switching to full-bed polyester setups like Black Mamba. Polyester provides tremendous durability without sacrificing your ability to control the ball. Whether you want to add spin or just directional control, this string is a great starting place.
Polys can take some getting use to, however. A full-bed of poly has a cumulative effect on string bed stiffness and stringing to your normal tension can leave you with a board-like feeling that causes unnecssary strain on your arm. Most manufacturers recommend stringing at least 10% below your normal tension to account for the absence of that inital tension drop experienced with multi-filament strings.
For those that really want to dial in the experience that a top quality polyester can provide, we recommend planning to go through a few sets and make regular adjustments. Start as low as 40lbs of tension: that's right 40. Low tension polyester stringing has the advantage of returning the comfort level of a relatively stiff material to that of a much softer gut or gut synthetic. It allows the string to cup the ball just enough longer to really give the profile of the string the extra bite it needs to make maximum use of the unique proerties of the string shape. You might worry about the trampoline effect, but with a stiff string, it will not be as promounced as you fear.
40lbs is just the starting point, however. Plan to restring and make adjustments upward until you find the sweet spot for your style of play. We promise that you will find that spot much below what you might feel your "normal" tension should be.

Stringing Tips
More and more high end players are switching to full-bed polyester setups using a shaped string like Black Mamba Gear. Polyester provides tremendous durability without sacrificing your ability to control the ball. Whether you want to add spin or just directional control, this string is a great starting place.
Polys can take some getting use to, however. A full-bed of poly has a cumulative effect on string bed stiffness and stringing to your normal tension can leave you with a board-like feeling that causes unnecssary strain on your arm. Most manufacturers recommend stringing at least 10% below your normal tension to account for the absence of that inital tension drop experienced with multi-filament strings.
For those that really want to dial in the experience that a top quality polyester can provide, we recommend planning to go through a few sets and make regular adjustments. Start as low as 40lbs of tension: that's right 40. Low tension polyester stringing has the advantage of returning the comfort level of a relatively stiff material to that of a much softer gut or gut synthetic. It allows the string to cup the ball just enough longer to really give the profile of the string the extra bite it needs to make maximum use of the unique proerties of the string shape. You might worry about the trampoline effect, but with a stiff string, it will not be as promounced as you fear.
40lbs is just the starting point, however. Plan to restring and make adjustments upward until you find the sweet spot for your style of play. We promise that you will find that spot much below what you might feel your "normal" tension should be.
Trust us and try it out. Luckily our strings are inexpensive enough to allow just this kind of experimentation.
Hybrid Suggestions
Black Mamba Gear is a shaped string. As such, it can be expected to cause additional wear when paired with a softer synthetic or even natural gut. That is not to suggest that it is not an excellent combination. One of our staff regularly plays with a hybrid of a Black Mamba shaped string and our Supra Natural Gut with great success. Do pay attention to notching, though. Be prepared to change your strings regularly enough to avoid breakage problems.
Strung in the mains, Black Mamba Gear will give you spin and durability, while gaining additional comfort and elasticity from the multi-filament crosses.
