Drills (Style Drills): Alle Grand Series Modelle
MOONBALLER
Mondbälle sind äußerst schwierig zurückzuspielen. Sie ähneln Slow Pitch
Softball. Der hoch gewölbte Aufschlag sieht aus, als wäre er leicht zu
schlagen, ist es aber nicht! Mondbälle zu spielen verlangt Geduld oder eine
Kombination aus Geduld und einem guten, schwungvollen Volley an der
Platzmitte, um nach vorn zu gehen und zu punkten. Trainieren Sie beides!
Auch sollten Sie sich nicht scheuen, nach hinten zu gehen und den hohen
Aufsetzerball in angenehmerer Höhe aufkommen zu lassen.
SLICER
Einige der stärksten Club-Level-Spieler werden
von ihren Freunden “Hacker” genannt. Andere bezeichnen sie auch als „Slicer
und Dicer“! Typischerweise können diese Spieler ihre Grundlinienschläge
slicen oder schneiden; dabei bleibt der Ball niedrig und ist schwer
zurückzuspielen. Beim Spielen eines Slice denken Sie daran, die Knie etwas
tiefer zu beugen als normal, so werden vermeidbare Fehler minimiert und Sie
sind bereit für ein langes Match! Diese Spieler sind normalerweise sehr
standfest und jagen Sie über das ganze Feld.
LEFTY
Die meisten Spieler sind Rechtshänder; mit einem
Linkshänder zu spielen, kann eine ziemlich unangenehme Erfahrung werden.
Stellen Sie sich auf die Spielart des Linkshänders während des Spiels ein!
Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die meisten Linkshänder starke
Vorhand-Grundschläge und starke Rückhand-Volleys haben. Aber ihre
Rückhand-Slice-Grundschläge sind oft schwächer und sie haben Probleme mit
niedrigen Vorhand-Volleys. Die von der Maschine in dieser Ballfolge
ausgeworfenen Bälle simulieren die möglichen Schläge eines Linkshänders!

Drills (Exercise Drills): nur Grand V und Grand V LE
BEGINNER
(LEICHT)
Anfänger brauchen Ermutigung und Erfolg. Dieser
6-Ball-Drill soll Anfängern helfen, besser zu werden und ihr Selbstvertrauen
zu stärken. Die Bälle werden bei niedriger bis mittlerer Geschwindigkeit in
die Mitte des Feldes ausgelenkt und landen im Bereich zwischen der
Aufschlaglinie und knapp 3 Meter vor der Grundlinie. Anfänger sollten
versuchen, alle 6 Bälle so zu schlagen, dass sie hinter der Aufschlaglinie
auf der anderen Seite des Netzes landen. Eine etwas anspruchsvollere
Variante ist, dass der Spieler vor Schlagen eines Balles angibt, welche
Seite des Feldes er anspielen möchte (schräg über das Feld oder entlang der
Linie). 6 Bälle schlagen und dann die Maschine pausieren lassen, um einen
relativ langen Ballwechsel zu simulieren.
INTERMEDIATE (MITTELSCHWER)
Fortgeschrittene brauchen
Herausforderung, um ein höheres Niveau zu erreichen. Dieser 6-Ball-Drill
hilft Fortgeschrittenen, ihre Platzabdeckung zu verbessern und viele
verschiedene Schläge zu trainieren. Ziel des Spielers ist, alle 6 Bälle
hinter die Aufschlaglinie zu schießen, 4 der 6 Bälle sollten in der hinteren
Hälfte des Rückfeldes auftreffen, wie in der Abbildung dargestellt. Nur 6
Bälle schlagen und dann die Maschine pausieren lassen, um einen relativ
langen Ballwechsel zu simulieren. Eine anspruchsvollere Variante ist, dass
der Spieler vor Schlagen eines Balles angibt, welche Seite des Feldes er
anspielen möchte (quer über das Feld oder entlang der Linie).
ADVANCED (SCHWER)
Weit fortgeschrittene Spieler müssen
in Bezug auf Tempo und Platzierung gefordert werden, um ein noch höheres
Niveau zu erreichen. Dieser Drill hilft weit Fortgeschrittenen, eine höhere
Schlagtoleranz zu entwickeln, indem sie lernen, leicht anzugehende
„Chancen“-Bälle schnell zu erkennen. Mindestens 2 Bälle in das Rückhand-Feld
eines rechtshändig spielenden Gegners schlagen, dann bei der nächsten
relativ kurzen Ballfolge der Maschine den Ball mit einer nach innen
geführten Vorhand auf die Vorhandseite des Gegners schlagen. Schlagen Sie
ihn quer über das Feld oder gehen Sie in die Position zum Rückhandschlag.
Die Maschine ist so ausgelegt, dass nur 6 Bälle in Folge ausgegeben werden
können mit anschließender Pause. Deshalb steht der Spieler unter Druck, auf
den ersten Chancen-Ball zu achten, um den 3., 4., 5. oder 6. angespielten
Ball zu erwidern.

Zufällige Tiefe: 2-Line-Modus
Mit dieser
Funktion wirft Ihre Maschine die Bälle in willkürlicher Tiefe aus und
wechselt gleichzeitig zwischen Vorhand- und Rückhand-Grundschlägen; so
trainieren Sie Annäherung ans Netz und Rückzug vom Netz.
Zum Einstellen
dieser Funktion im 2-Line-Modus verwenden Sie die Menü-Pfeile und
scrollen durch die verschiedenen Schussarten, bis “Row” angezeigt wird.
Mit den Tasten
durch diese
Optionen scrollen, bis “Random” erscheint. Durch Drücken der Taste

Diese Funktion

Tipp: Sparen Sie bei Ballmaschinen nicht am
falschen Ende! D.h. billige Maschinen aus Fernost bringen meist nur am
Anfang eine Kostenersparnis aber danach oft viel Ärger weil diese nicht
richtig funktionieren und schon nach ein paar Monaten die ersten Fehler
auftreten. Wir haben dies auch schon am eigenen Leib erfahren und bieten
solche Maschinen nicht mehr an. Meist mußten wir diese zurück nehmen und
gegen Maschinen von Lobster und SAM tauschen!

PLUS DRILL
Der Vorhand Plus-Drill schießt den Ball mit gemäßigtem Topspin und mehr
Bogen; der Spieler hat so mehr Zeit, sich auf einen Vorhand-Schlag
einzustellen. Der Drill bringt den dominanten Vorhand-Schlag des Spielers
zur Geltung, wobei die richtige Position auf dem Platz beibehalten wird.
Ein 6-Ball-Drill, der vom Spieler fordert, Platzdominanz zu behalten, indem
er seine Vorhand für jeden Schuss verwendet.
OFFENSIV
/ DEFENSIV DRILL
Der Offensiv-/Defensiv-Drill wirft Bälle mit höherer Geschwindigkeit und
minimalem Spin aus; der Spieler muss sich schnell in die Ecken und aus den
Ecken sowie an der Grundlinie bewegen. Dieser Drill fördert die physischen
und psychischen Aspekte, die für ein offensives bzw. defensives Spiel der
gegnerischen Bälle erforderlich sind.
Ein 6-Ball-Drill, durch den der Spieler lernt, sich von der Grundlinie aus
in alle Richtungen zu bewegen.
APPROACH
DRILL
Der Approach Drill wirft Bälle mit unterschiedlichen Spins und Bögen aus
und zielt darauf ab, den Angriff des Spielers auf dem Platz zu trainieren,
nachdem er einen offensiven Ball gespielt hat. Dieser Drill fördert
korrektes Vorrücken, richtige Netzposition und Feldabdeckung.
Ein 6-Ball-Drill, der sich konzentriert auf das kontrollierte, schnelle
Vorrücken in das Halbfeld vom Bereich hinter der Grundlinie.

Vorprogrammierte Court
Drills (Style Drills): Alle Grand Series Modelle
MOONBALLER
Mondbälle sind äußerst schwierig zurückzuspielen. Sie ähneln Slow Pitch
Softball. Der hoch gewölbte Aufschlag sieht aus, als wäre er leicht zu
schlagen, ist es aber nicht! Mondbälle zu spielen verlangt Geduld oder eine
Kombination aus Geduld und einem guten, schwungvollen Volley an der
Platzmitte, um nach vorn zu gehen und zu punkten. Trainieren Sie beides!
Auch sollten Sie sich nicht scheuen, nach hinten zu gehen und den hohen
Aufsetzerball in angenehmerer Höhe aufkommen zu lassen.
SLICER
Einige der stärksten Club-Level-Spieler werden
von ihren Freunden “Hacker” genannt. Andere bezeichnen sie auch als „Slicer
und Dicer“! Typischerweise können diese Spieler ihre Grundlinienschläge
slicen oder schneiden; dabei bleibt der Ball niedrig und ist schwer
zurückzuspielen. Beim Spielen eines Slice denken Sie daran, die Knie etwas
tiefer zu beugen als normal, so werden vermeidbare Fehler minimiert und Sie
sind bereit für ein langes Match! Diese Spieler sind normalerweise sehr
standfest und jagen Sie über das ganze Feld.
LEFTY
Die meisten Spieler sind Rechtshänder; mit einem
Linkshänder zu spielen, kann eine ziemlich unangenehme Erfahrung werden.
Stellen Sie sich auf die Spielart des Linkshänders während des Spiels ein!
Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die meisten Linkshänder starke
Vorhand-Grundschläge und starke Rückhand-Volleys haben. Aber ihre
Rückhand-Slice-Grundschläge sind oft schwächer und sie haben Probleme mit
niedrigen Vorhand-Volleys. Die von der Maschine in dieser Ballfolge
ausgeworfenen Bälle simulieren die möglichen Schläge eines Linkshänders!

Drills (Exercise Drills): nur Grand V und Grand V LE
BEGINNER
(LEICHT)
Anfänger brauchen Ermutigung und Erfolg. Dieser
6-Ball-Drill soll Anfängern helfen, besser zu werden und ihr Selbstvertrauen
zu stärken. Die Bälle werden bei niedriger bis mittlerer Geschwindigkeit in
die Mitte des Feldes ausgelenkt und landen im Bereich zwischen der
Aufschlaglinie und knapp 3 Meter vor der Grundlinie. Anfänger sollten
versuchen, alle 6 Bälle so zu schlagen, dass sie hinter der Aufschlaglinie
auf der anderen Seite des Netzes landen. Eine etwas anspruchsvollere
Variante ist, dass der Spieler vor Schlagen eines Balles angibt, welche
Seite des Feldes er anspielen möchte (schräg über das Feld oder entlang der
Linie). 6 Bälle schlagen und dann die Maschine pausieren lassen, um einen
relativ langen Ballwechsel zu simulieren.
INTERMEDIATE (MITTELSCHWER)
Fortgeschrittene brauchen
Herausforderung, um ein höheres Niveau zu erreichen. Dieser 6-Ball-Drill
hilft Fortgeschrittenen, ihre Platzabdeckung zu verbessern und viele
verschiedene Schläge zu trainieren. Ziel des Spielers ist, alle 6 Bälle
hinter die Aufschlaglinie zu schießen, 4 der 6 Bälle sollten in der hinteren
Hälfte des Rückfeldes auftreffen, wie in der Abbildung dargestellt. Nur 6
Bälle schlagen und dann die Maschine pausieren lassen, um einen relativ
langen Ballwechsel zu simulieren. Eine anspruchsvollere Variante ist, dass
der Spieler vor Schlagen eines Balles angibt, welche Seite des Feldes er
anspielen möchte (quer über das Feld oder entlang der Linie).
ADVANCED (SCHWER)
Weit fortgeschrittene Spieler müssen
in Bezug auf Tempo und Platzierung gefordert werden, um ein noch höheres
Niveau zu erreichen. Dieser Drill hilft weit Fortgeschrittenen, eine höhere
Schlagtoleranz zu entwickeln, indem sie lernen, leicht anzugehende
„Chancen“-Bälle schnell zu erkennen. Mindestens 2 Bälle in das Rückhand-Feld
eines rechtshändig spielenden Gegners schlagen, dann bei der nächsten
relativ kurzen Ballfolge der Maschine den Ball mit einer nach innen
geführten Vorhand auf die Vorhandseite des Gegners schlagen. Schlagen Sie
ihn quer über das Feld oder gehen Sie in die Position zum Rückhandschlag.
Die Maschine ist so ausgelegt, dass nur 6 Bälle in Folge ausgegeben werden
können mit anschließender Pause. Deshalb steht der Spieler unter Druck, auf
den ersten Chancen-Ball zu achten, um den 3., 4., 5. oder 6. angespielten
Ball zu erwidern.

Fully Random Oscillation

Moonballer
Drill
Moonballers can be a nightmare to play against. Think of it like slow pitch
softball. The high arcing pitch looks like it should be easy to hit, but it's
not! To play the moonballer, you need patience or a combination of patience and
a good midcourt swinging volley to move forwards and finish the points. Try
practicing both!
Also, don't be afraid to move back and let the high
bouncing ball drop to a more comfortable height.
Slicer
Drill
Some of the most effective club level players are called "hackers" by their
friends. Others call them "slicers and dicers!" Typically these players can
slice or chop their groundstrokes, keeping the ball low and hard to return. To
play a "slicer" remember to bend your knees a little lower than normal, minimize
unforced errors, and be ready for a long match! These players are usually very
steady and will move you all around the court.
Lefty
Drill
Most players are right-handed, which can make playing a lefty a relatively
uncomfortable experience. Just don't be the player who doesn't even realize they
just played a lefty until the match is over! It's important to know that most
left-handers have strong forehands groundstrokes and strong backhand volleys.
But, they often have weaker slice backhand groundstrokes and have trouble with
low forehand volleys. The feeds from the machine in this sequence are designed
to simulate what a lefty might throw at you!

BEGINNER
Beginners need encouragement and success. This 6-ball drill is meant to help
beginners improve and build confidence. Balls are fed into the middle 50% of the
court, at slow to medium speed and land in the area between the service line and
9 feet in front of the baseline. Beginners should try to hit all 6 balls to land
past the service line on the opposite side of the net. A more challenging
variation is for the hitter to call out which side of the court they are aiming
for (crosscourt or down the line) before striking each ball. Hit 6 balls and
then pause the machine to simulate a relatively long point.
INTERMEDIATE
Intermediates need to be challenged to reach more advanced levels. This
6-ball drill will help intermediates improve their court coverage and execute a
variety of shots. The goal for the hitter is to land all 6 balls behind the
service line with 4 of the 6 balls to land in the deep half of the backcourt
area as shown in the diagram. Hit only 6 balls at a time and then pause the
machine to simulate a relatively long point. A more challenging variation is for
the hitter to call out which side of the court they are aiming for (crosscourt
or down the line) before striking each ball.
ADVANCED
Advanced players need to be challenged by pace and placement to reach even
more advanced levels. This drill is designed to help advanced players develop
higher shot tolerance while learning to quickly identify "opportunity" balls
that can be attacked. Hit at least 2 balls into a right-handed opponent's
backhand court, then on the next relatively short ball fed from the machine,
attack that ball with an inside-in forehand to the opponent's forehand side. Hit
it crosscourt or run around a backhand to execute this shot. The only rule is
the machine is only allowed to feed 6 balls in each sequence before being
paused. Therefore the hitter will be pressured to look for the first opportunity
ball to attack on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th ball fed.
FOREHAND
PLUS DRILL
The Forehand Plus drill throws balls with moderate topspin and more arc
giving the player more time to set-up for a forehand shot. This drill will
accentuate the player's dominant forehand stroke while maintaining proper court
position.

ATTACK
/ DEFEND DRILL
The Attack/Defend drill throws balls using greater ball speed and minimal
spin making the player move in and out of the corners and across the baseline
quickly. This drill will put emphasis on the mental and physical aspects needed
to both attack and defend against your opponent's shots.

baseline.
APPROACH
DRILL
The Approach drill throws balls with various spins and arcs aimed for the
player to approach into the court after playing an aggressive ball. This drill
will promote correct approach and net position, along with the proper covering
of the line.
