These pliers are among the highest quality pliers on the market and are the same as Stringmaster Deluxe or the Diamond B-TM for 3799 euros,
Pliers are the heart of a machine and quality is very important. In contrast to many cheaper China machines/pliers (which do not hold the strings properly, leave pressure marks or even damage the string), these highest quality pliers hold the string securely, gently without crushing the string.
There are also no insertion plates or the like installed in the pliers, which often ensure that the gripping surface is not flat and therefore the string can be damaged. In addition, such plates can fall out and then the pliers no longer work properly!
The list of advantages of the machine is long.
Here is a small excerpt of what distinguishes the machine from most others:
- The clamping basket can be easily locked/locked with a lever (no other manufacturer has this for lever arm machines). Simply push the lever over and the clamping basket is fixed.
Some competitor machines cannot fix the clamping basket or you have to do it laboriously with a rotary wheel.
- The side arms of the frame mounts are self-centering. You only turn one dial and both arms move and hold the racket safely and gently.
The machine also has some innovations:
- New side frame brackets. Permanently mounted and also fit for badminton rackets
- Concave heart/head fixations (at 12.00 and 6.00 a.m. - red in the picture). These prevent the racket from sliding upwards at this position. Many very expensive machines, such as the Babolat racket station, have brackets based on this principle.

Besaite seit ca. 40 Jahren ausnahmslos mit mechanischen Maschinen und überprüfe die Ergebnisse mit einem Tensionmessgerät. Bisher hatte ich relativ günstige Maschinen, damit kann man aufgrund der Erfahrung durchaus gute Ergebnisse erzielen. Die Stringmaster 4000 ist allerdings eine andere Dimension, bezüglich Aufbau und Austattung. Dafür ist sie eigentlich relativ günstig. Man sollte tatsächlich keine Kompromisse eingehen und bei manuellen Maschinen zur Stringmaster 4000 greifen, Tempo und Qualität der Besaitung sind deutlich höher. Von daher, in diesem Segment alternativlos gut.

Ich habe die Besaitungsmaschine Stringmaster 4000 vor knapp 2 Wochen bestellt. Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und die Maschine war im Paket sehr gut geschützt. Ein Pluspunkt ist, dass die Maschine bereits fast komplett aufgebaut ist, sodass die restlichen Teile sehr schnell und einfach zu montieren sind. Ich habe bereits mit der Maschine gearbeitet, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität und Robustheit der Maschine. Ebenfalls finde ich sehr beeindruckend die Top Qualität an Haltezangen und die sehr einfach geschriebene Bedienungsanleitung. Bis jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Maschine nur empfehlen!

Vor dem Kauf hatte ich Kontakt zu D. Schöll, der mir die Vor- und Nachteile unterschiedlicher Modelle erläutert hat und schlußendlich die StringMaster 4000 empfohlen hat. Mittlerweile drei Schläger damit bespannt und bin sehr zufrieden, deswegen an dieser Stelle auch besten Dank für die Emfpehlung. (Allerdings ist es meine erste Besaitungsmaschine, entsprechend fehlt auch etwas der Vergleich.) - Die Zangen sind sehr gut, lassen sich zunehmend leicht bewegen, nach Anpassung an die Saitendicke halten sie die Saite perfekt, und bewegen sich nicht wahrnehmbar bei der Entlastung. Das sieht man auf Youtube bei anderen Modellen schon ganz anders. - Das Gewicht läuft ratschenlos, dadurch lässt sich die Waagrechte sehr gut einstellen und der Zug bleibt auch konstant beim Lösen der Zange. - Die Rahmenhalterung lässt viel Raum für das Einfädeln der Saite, ist selbstzentrierend, dadurch weniger Geschraube und bessere Kraftverteilung beim Einspannen des Schlägers . Das Festziehen ist noch bisserl gewöhnungsbedürftig, ebenso dass die seitlichen Arme je nach Schläger nicht im perfekten Winkel anliegen, da nicht einstellbar, hat aber keine merkbare Auswirkung. - Für das Verschieben des Aufspannkorbs braucht es kein Werkzeug, das ist auch sehr angenehm. Wenn man was bekritteln will: Das beiliegende Werkzeug ist mittelmässig, zumindest einen guten Seitenschneider sollte man sich zusätzlich gönnen. Und es waren ein paar kleine Schönheitsfehler sichtbar. Aus meiner Sicht in Summe eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
