The BLACK SKULL TOUR consists of a newly developed vinyl and PEEK (polyether etherketone) one of the highest quality string materials! PEEK is a high quality semi-crystalline thermoplastic and is e.g. also used in the space industry and medical technology. The goal in the development of this string would be the following 3 main goals: 1. To develop a string that has no or minimal loss of power. Most polyester and co-polyester strings have high and fast tension losses. Even when stringing and after a few hours of play, the loss of tension is high and the string loses its positive playing characteristics. The ball control (from point 2) is therefore retained on strings with high voltage stability over a longer period of time. There are only a few (usually very expensive) strings which have minimal loss of tension and are therefore very popular among the best tour players. => goal reached 2.
