Tennis ball machines are a fantastic way to practice and improve your game, regardless of your skill level. The Spinfire Pro 2 makes it easy to practice a wide range of shots, test yourself with a variety of paces, spins and elevations, and build your mobility and fitness with practice drills.
With a number of improvements over the original version, the Spinfire Pro 2 (v2) offers things you’d normally only find on a much more expensive machine. It includes internal movement, an easy-to-use control panel and remote control, and 150-ball capacity – all wrapped up in an extremely stylish and compact design.
Here’s what makes it even better
Some of the key upgrades include:
Improved ball variations:
- The ‘Horizontal Oscillation’ function has been replaced with ‘Horizontal Random’, so it randomly selects spots across the court rather than sweeping from side to side
- The ‘Vertical Oscillation’ function has been replaced with ‘Vertical Random’, so it randomly selects the longest or shortest points rather than sweeping up and down
- ‘Horizontal Random’ now includes a ‘narrow’ option, rather than just ‘wide’ or ‘medium’
Improved portability and practicality:
- More compact design with an extra handle at the top of the mouth when the hopper (ball basket) is inverted
- Larger transport wheels with a full axle through the body for added stability and strength
- A slot has been added to store the remote control

Key features and benefits
Internal movement
Unlike most ball machines, which change the direction of the ball by moving the whole machine from side to side, the Spinfire Pro 2 moves internally. This allows for faster re-direction and makes shots less predictable. The internal parts are black to further disguise shot direction.
Random modes
With both horizontal and vertical random modes, balls can be delivered across the full width of the singles court with depth variation. The Spinfire Pro 2 can be set to deliver the same trajectory over and over or a variety of random trajectories. ‘Horizontal Random’ can be set to deliver balls across a narrow, medium or wide area. ‘Vertical Random’ delivers short or long balls in a random order. Both ‘Horizontal Random’ and ‘Vertical Random’ can be combined for a very realistic playing pattern.
Two-line drills
This feature delivers alternating forehands and backhands. It can be set to ‘wide’, ‘medium’ or ‘narrow’ to vary the degree of difficulty. The ‘wide’ setting makes you run from side to side, ‘narrow’ allows you to remain in the middle of the court, while ‘medium’ is between the two. You can also set the timing between each ball.
Extreme topspin and slice capability
Using counter rotating wheels, the Spinfire Pro 2 operates very quietly and can generate maximum topspin and slice if desired.
Remote control
All functions can be controlled remotely, allowing the player to start or pause the machine and change functions without leaving their side of the court.
Easy portability
Compact and lightweight, the Spinfire Pro 2 fits in the boot of most cars. The hopper (ball basket) can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, and solid wheels and an extendable handle allow you to pull or push it almost anywhere.
Three power options
You can choose to have a built-in or external battery pack, or plug-in AC power option. The external battery pack makes the machine much lighter, allowing you to leave it in the car and just bring the battery inside for charging. A fast charger is also available, cutting the charging time from 11 hours to 3–4 hours. If your court has easy access to a power point, you may prefer the plug-in AC power option.

Wir haben die Maschine mit integriertem Akku. Bis jetzt alles top, habe nur so gestaunt mit bis zu welcher Geschwindigkeit einem die Bälle um die Ohren fliegen. Ich habe die Maschine eine Stunde lang auf alle möglichen Funktionen (Speed, Spin, Weite, Höhe) getestet, damit ich ein Gefühl bekomme wie die einzelnen Werte sich auswirken. Danach habe ich auf der App auf meinem Handy verschiedene Drills zusammengestellt zusätzlich zu den bereits bestehenden, ich muss sagen, das mit den Drills ist wirklich sensationell. Bin bis jetzt sehr zufrieden.

Super Dienstleistung! Die Maschine ist wirklich perfekt und bringt einen zum schwitzen. Super von der Bedienung und Handhabung. Habe die Maschine mit integrierten Akku gekauft. DER Akku hält WIRKLICH lang. Die Maschine wird mindestens. Für 2 Std benutzt und ist nach 5 Tagen noch nicht am Ende. Ich kann sie bestens weiterempfehlen!

Eine großártige Ballmaschine, die mir ziemlich genau das liefert, was ich mir erhofft habe: präziser Ballauswurf, Variation und Verläßlichkeit. wi ebereits angemerkt, würde auch ich mir ein Abspeichern von Favoriten-Einstellungen wünschen, aber sonst ist alles top!

Beratung, Lieferung top! Ballmaschine jetzt zweimal ausprobiert, zusammen mit meinen Kindern. Bei den Stage 2 Bällen (orange) hat Sie sich einmal verschluckt. Das war es aber auch. Die grünen Stage Bälle liefen einwandfrei. Konnte allerdings bisher noch nicht alle Funktionen testen. Bisher sehr zufrieden und die Variante mit dem externen Akku kann nich nur empfehlen.

Die Ballmaschine habe ich nun seit 2-3 Wochen und habe sie schon 5-6 mal ausprobiert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Zuverlässigkeit und Genauigkeit der Ballausgabe. Mit der sehr handlichen Fernbedienung lässt sie sich toll steuern. Ein wichtiger Kaufgrund von meiner Seite war die interne Auswurfmechanik, die einen den nächsten Ball (bei Random) nicht erahnen lässt. Auch einige Trainer, die sie neugierig beäugt haben, waren begeistert. Ich werde nach und nach alle Funktionen testen, habe aber keine Zweifel, dass alle top funktionieren werden. Wie einige schon zuvor angemerkt haben, wären ein paar Presets für festgelegte Übungen noch das Sahnehäubchen obendrauf. Ein klitzekleiner Minuspunkt: Die Batterieladeanzeige (ich habe die interne Lithiumbatterie) fällt leider nicht linear ab, sondern zeigt sehr lange voll an, um dann schnell abzufallen. Das macht mein Iphone deutlich besser... ;-). Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Maschine ist jeden Cent wert!

Schnelle Lieferung. Gute Verarbeitung Danke für die ausführliche Beratung. Noch nicht alles Funktionen getestet, aber schon jetzt sehr zufrieden. Maschine läuft sehr ruhig, mega finde ich auch, dass der Anschluss der Maschine mit einer Kappe vor Verschmutzung geschützt ist und der Stecker fest sitzt und erst durch drücken eine Taste gelöst wird, so ist alles fest verbunden. Für uns war die reine Stromversion ausreichend, daher kann ich Akkus nicht beurteilen.

Die Maschine arbeitet einwandfrei, nur an Stage 2 Bällen (die grünen für Kinder) "verschluckt" sich sich ganz selten mal und wirft zwei fast gleichzeitig aus. Der in einer anderen Rezension beschriebene Fehler bzgl. horizontaler Kalibrierung kam bei mir auch beim allerersten Einschalten, seitdem nicht wieder. Die Maschine kann wie beschrieben die Bälle horizontal und auch ein wenig in der Tiefe verteilen, auch kombiniert. Dadurch kommt zumindest ansatzweise das Gefühl auf, einen "echten" Gegner auf der anderen Seite stehen zu haben. Topspin, Slice und Geschwindigkeit lassen sich jeweils auf ein herausforderndes Level stellen... Zufällige bzw automatisch variierende Einstellung von Spin und Geschwindigkeit bleiben aber den nochmal doppelt so teuren Maschinen anderer Hersteller vorbehalten. Letztlich vermisse ich persönlich das aber nicht. Der interne Lithium-Akku hält lange - eine Stunde mit zwischenzeitlichem Bällesammeln verbraucht etwa 20% Kapazität. Eine Überlegung noch zum Preis: 1 Jahr lang jede Woche eine Trainerstunde kostet etwa so viel wie die Ballmaschine, die einen Trainer natürlich nicht ersetzen aber m.E. gut ergänzen kann. Alles in allem eine perfekte Maschine, um an den eigenen Schwächen zu arbeiten, oder sich mal richtig auszupowern!
